Business verification and UBO

Business applications combine company evidence with the people who own or control it.

Create the business

Use a published business workflow and submit legal name, registration number and country when creating the application. The applicant session then requests the exact fields, documents and ownership structure required by that workflow.

Business evidence

A workflow can collect:

  • incorporation/registration evidence;
  • trading name, registered and operating addresses;
  • industry, purpose, expected activity and regulatory status;
  • registry/company number matches;
  • directors, controllers and authorised representatives;
  • ownership percentages and ownership layers; and
  • source-of-funds/source-of-wealth information where ECDD applies.

Beneficial owners

Each beneficial owner/controller is represented explicitly. Required people can be routed into linked identity verification using the same document, biometric and screening contracts. The business does not approve merely because a company record exists.

Registry and AML coverage

Registry, UBO, PEP/RCA and adverse-media results depend on the sources entitled and approved for the tenant/country. Assayra records source, licence reference, acquisition time and dataset fingerprint so the decision can be reconstructed.

Status mapping

The business application remains review while a mandatory company fact, controller, UBO, screening candidate or evidence request is unresolved. Consume the final business decision event and then reconcile the complete record server-to-server.
